Which Hotel????

Hi

DH and I are taking our 1st trip to New Orleans we leave next Fri 5/15 for 3 night, no kids (yea). I have reservations at the Hilton Riverside (adding to hh points), but have read some bad reviews, my sil stayed at Bourbon Orleans over 10+ years ago and loved it.

We are not renting a car, we plan to party,eat,sightsee,shop and sleep in that order. They

end up being almost the same $$$$, minus the points. Should we change??

Also any must do%26#39;s?? Thinking steamboat on miss river,maybe spa,eat,eat and eat, and best night spots

for hanging out relaxing??

Which Hotel????

If it were up to me I would stay at the Bourbon. One main reason would be location. I prefer staying in the French Quarter. if you do not pla on having a car then the Quarter is the place to stay. You can walk to almost everything.

BOurbon Orleans has the location and sometimes the %26#39;ponts%26#39; rooms at the Hilton end up being the older rooms and near the rail line.

The Hilton Riverside is a great hotel choice for kids, but if it%26#39;s just the two of you, I%26#39;d stay inside the French Quarter and go for the Bourbon Orleans. I assume you%26#39;ll be out and about at night, so it makes sense to stay closer to the action within the French Quarter.
