Club La Pension

Seeking any information on Club La Pension, located at Canal and Decatur streets.

We are considering a 1-week vacation package through 4th of July holiday offered to military families. Lodging is at Club La Pension. It will be our first visit to NO, and looking forward to exploring the city. Any information on this facility would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Club La Pension

I%26#39;ve done a lot of research on hotels in New Orleans and I can%26#39;t say that I%26#39;ve ever run across this one. I%26#39;ll do some research and get back with you. (I have lots of friends from NO and Slidell)

Club La Pension

Hope this post is not too late to help. Club La Pension is a time-share, so be prepared to fend off the marketing efforts. Other than that, the location is pretty good. On the edge of the Quarter close to House of Blues, Jackson Square, Jax Brewery and right across the Canal from Harrah%26#39;s Casino. Also 3 blocks from the river and all of its attractions.

The %26#39;hotel%26#39; itself is in an historic building and so would be described as %26#39;quaint%26#39;; small rooms, but clean. I have not stayed there but have a timeshare closeby and did a look-see of the La Pension about 2 years ago.

Have fun and laissez le bon temps rouler!

BDAD59....Thanks for replying, and your information is much appreciated. We 鈥榞oogled鈥?the resort, and managed to find a couple of websites with photos. Hopefully, we won鈥檛 be hassled too much with timeshare marketers. Nevertheless, we are please with the location of the facility, which will make it interesting to explore the area.

Let the good times roll in N鈥橝wlins!

P.S. How is parking in the French quarters? Parking garages?

Hey SaipanCNMI and others,

My family and I are planning to stay at Club La Pension during thanksgiving. Has anyone stayed there post katrina, and if so, did they experience any damage or suspension of services? Also, I went on their website and their rooms look really nice, but what%26#39;s it like when you get there? What are the overall thoughts of this hotel and does anyone have other recommendations for timeshares in the area?

Thanks

Tmoorehe

We stayed at The Quarter House(timeshare) on Chartres Street, it was lovely.

Club La Pension was our next choice and we had a look around the reception area while we were in NO. It looked very nice.

Hope you enjoy your trip to NO - wecertainly did.

Hello,

Just wondering how your stay at the Club La Pension went. We are thinking of staying there the third week of May.

Thanks,

I%26#39;ve stayed at Club La Pension on two different trips and it was great. First stay was Dec 2006 and again in Dec 2007 - both stays were great. Rooms were furnished well, clean, great staff for check in, bell service and housekeeping. For the last trip we had rooms on Decatur, second floor with a great balcony. It was nice enough weather to enjoy the balcony. The only downside to the rooms we had is every night, around 3 am, street cleaning crews gathered across the street and hung out for awhile, laughing and talking really loud - woke up my father in law every night. It didn%26#39;t bother me, but I can sleep through most anything. I love the location and always stay in this part of the FQ. My other favorite time share is The Quarter House, one street up on Chartres.
