I%26#39;m bringing several folks from India to visit New Orleans. Any recommendations on good Indian food restaurants?

There aren%26#39;t a lot of options. Sara%26#39;s (in uptown I believe) is decent. I went there once but it%26#39;s not strickly Indian food but they did have some good Indian selections.

I like Nirvana on Magazine Street. Good food, nice space, decent prices. The staff is all Indian so I suspect it%26#39;s fairly authentic.

Unfortunately, there are no good Indian restaurants in the New Orleans area. I like Taj Mahal in Metairie a little more than NIrvana, but that%26#39;s not saying much. Sara%26#39;s is more fusion-style cuisine with Indian elements. Nevertheless, I would probably choose Sara over the other options.

Just to be different...I%26#39;d rate the two better ones in this order....Nirvana and then Taj Mahal.
